This weekend my family & Chris surprised me in Los Angeles with a weekend trip to New York so I was really excited to spend time with them. The few times I have been in NYC my visits are short and straight to the point. Every time that I travel with my family, my dad likes to come up with an intense itinerary so we explored the city in two days. We bought tickets to the tour bus that drives you through the city. I have done that in Paris and it is really practical because you get to see the entire city. We were able to visit/photograph Central Park, Times Square, Meatpacking District, Soho, The line, Upper and Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, and including a boat ride to The Statute of Liberty.
The day we arrived it was super cold and raining, so I stood on the rain to take this pic but it was well worth it.
Out hotel lobby was super cute!
layering with fur because the cold weather is so intense. Coming from Los Angeles, it was a drastic switch. But excited to layer so ended up layering with sweater, fur coat and long coat. I was still cold.

I feel like we did so much in two days, I was so tired afterwards. I feel I have better understanding of NYC so next time I can stay in the places I liked the most.
places I recommend to see and take pictures:
The Empire state building
The High Line
Meat Packing District
Upper East side
Madison Square Garden
Statute of Liberty
