I had the opportunity to visit an amazing village in Colombia Villa De Leyva. It is a 3 hour drive from Bogota where we originally landed. The best way to describe this little village is a “The Santorini of Colombia. All the houses are painted white, the roofs are made out of Spanish tile and the streets are made out of stone. The weather is cooler and the vegetation is lush, tons of flowers everywhere. The people are friendly and they have dogs off leash everywhere. The town has hostels and boutique hotels that follow the same colonial vibe. This town is simply adorable. You can also find restaurants that mainly serve Colombian food. One of the quick foods you can pick up when walking the streets is the “Arepa” which is made out of sugar, flour and cheese. The mozzarella cheese is insane. You can also try the coca tee if you are having problems with the elevation. I was sick the first couple of days but got better.
My first look was this stunning wrap dress with embroidery details, simply stunning it almost feels like a wedding dress with hint of an oriental touch. I love wearing white during trips like this. It feels soft and effortless. Plus it looks great in pictures. I accessorize with fringe earrings and my fav strappy sandals ( It was the only shoes I can walk on, the street is hard to walk on heels.) This is a perfect sample of how the streets look in Villa De Leyva.
Another stunning look, is this amazing blush maxi wrap dress. I absolutely love the color of this dress. The fit is insane it is so flattering and the breeze just kept moving the skirt. I love flowy. The sunlight coming through the mountain just made this dress shine even more. One of my favorite looks by far.
I was able to convince Chris to be with me in a photo, hopefully we can start seeing of him more often.
I accessorized this look with a pair of modern spiral earrings that are to die for. Earrings are taking over in the accessory world and I love it.
My third look was this stunning Short Lace Dress. I absolutely love the detailing of this dress is simply gorgerous.
I accessorized with Fringe Gold Earrings.
The fourth look was a little more casual with a off the shoulder stripe top paired with crop flare white denim. I accessoirazed with red fringe earrings for a pop of color. My last look is this Emboridery Blush Jumpsuit. I love de detailing of this jumpsuit and the neckline. I love my deep Vs. I always wear stickies so I am not 100% expose. ( If you know what I mean)
Overall I miss this place. I wish it was around the corner for me that way I can go relax and unwind from all the craziness and take amazing pictures.
Villa De Leyva was an amazing experience!
