So it seams like it is always wedding season in Panama. People in Latin American countries tend to get married way sooner than people in United States. By the time I was finishing my first degree, my friends in Panama were on to having their second kid. So I flew to Panama for the wedding of my cousin, I have so many but he is one the closest in age, we grew up together. Not that I can’t skip any of family members wedding. But this one was ultra special.
People really dress up in Panama, you would almost never see someone wearing a short dress even if is the nicest short dress. They like to wear gowns, so you have to go all out. Girls get their hair and makeup done. Is like dressing for the Oscars.
I was so busy preparing looks for the trip that I really didn’t have enough time to buy a dress. Looking though my closet I came across this puffy bag that had this beauty inside. I had this dress in my closet for over a year never been worn and I almost forgot I had it. So when I put it on it was love at first sight.
Latelty I feel so close to my Spanish roots ( I am a mix of Colombian, Gernman and Italian born in Panama. ) I decided to do and Spanish classic parted in the middle look. I did managed to get the hair piece and the earrings. I am an accessory type of girl and I was not planning to go to this wedding without accessories. The make the outfit.
I was able to convince him to take a picture, and I am so glad we did.
Looking so handsome. It reminds me of a James Bond movie minus the bag. I like to carry an additional bag for comfy shoes, camera, flash etc… We had to walk a couple of blocks people though I was the bride. Lol someday hopefully soon.
Victor and his lovely wife Gina. The little kids looked adorable!
The wedding had a tropical spring vibe
